Why does the preparer information not appear at the bottom of the GA8453?
The section Paid Preparer's Use Only section is completed only if the ERO and the Paid Preparer are different. In the example below, they are the same, so rather than display duplicate information, the box in the ERO’s Use Only section (Check if also paid preparer) is checked. This is consistent with the GA DOR Instructions.
If you want the paid preparer's signature box to be filled out (when applicable), go to Setup > Options > States > Georgia and check the option Enable Alternative signature option (All packages), then click OK.
