In a 1065 return, when entering overrides on the California partnership K1 screen, amounts do not flow to the CA565K1 in view mode; why?
If there are two federal K1 screens with the same name and EIN, the overrides may not be carried to the CA565K1 because the software does not know which K1 to adjust. Make sure the federal K1 screen entered has a unique combination of ID and Name. The software will be able to pick up two K1 screens with the same ID number as long as there is a unique name for each K1.
Adding a number (1, 2, 3 ...) to the end of the K1 name will make the name unique.
