How do I clear EF Message 5433 on a TPG bank product? The phone number and extension are correct.
EF Message 5433 states:
INVALID PHONE NUMBER: A valid phone number is required for the taxpayer to qualify for a bank product. The phone number entered on this return is not valid
Return to screen 1 and enter a valid phone number for the taxpayer.
TPG file specifications do not permit a phone extension. You will have to remove the daytime or evening phone number extensions for taxpayer and spouse on screen 1.
