How do I correct red message 0162 in a Fiduciary return?

Fiduciary EF Message 0162 states:

INVALID EIN ENTERED: The EIN entered is not made up of nine valid numerals. The first two positions of the EIN must be one of the following prefixes: 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99

Generally, this message refers to the Preparer's Firm EIN, rather than the EIN of the return. Usually, the problem is caused by a Social Security Number having been entered for the Firm EIN. To correct it, go to Setup > Firm(s), select the firm, click Edit Firm, enter the firm's EIN in the Federal EIN field on the Settings tab, and click Save. Open and calculate the return to clear the message.
