How do I correct red message 0162 in a Fiduciary return?

Fiduciary EF Message 0162 states:

INVALID EIN ENTERED: The EIN entered is not made up of nine valid numerals. The first two positions of the EIN must be one of the following prefixes: 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99

Generally, this message refers to the Preparer's Firm EIN, rather than the EIN of the return. Usually, the problem is caused by a social security number having been entered for the Firm EIN. To correct it, go to Setup > Firm(s), select the firm, click Edit Firm, enter the firm's EIN in the Federal EIN field, and click Save. Open and calculate the return and re-transmit it.
