How do I clear 990 EF Message 0107 or 990-EZ EF Message 0535?
EF Messages 0107 and 0535 state:
MISSING SCHEDULE A: Schedule A, Public Charity Status, must be
attached to Form 990 (990-EZ) if the tax-exempt status (item I on page 1) is
one of the following:
- 501(c)(3) type of organization
- 4947(a)(1)
Complete the required Schedule A information on the following screens on the Schedules A-G tab of the Data Entry Menu:
- A, Public Charity Status
- A2, Supported Organizations
- A3, Part II or III Support Schedule
(IRS Business Rule F990-167.)
To correct the issue, amounts must be entered for the current year, even if the amounts are zero.
