How do I assign a shareholder or partner number that will appear on the adjusted basis worksheet?
The Shareholder Number or Partner Number field on the top left of the adjusted basis worksheet in View/Print mode is an unused blank field, at present, and will not display anything.
If Print shareholder's/partner's adjusted basis worksheet is selected on screen PRNT in an S Corporation or Partnership return, the worksheet appears in View/Print mode as Wks SBAS in the 1120S and as Wks Adj Basis in the 1065.
