I have removed my selections on the EF screen to not send any federal/state forms. Why is the software still suppressing my state return?
The EF screen is not the only screen in data entry that can cause state returns to be suppressed.
Check the PRNT screen in Data Entry by going to Miscellaneous Tab > PRNT Print Options Screen and check to see if there are any states selected under the Suppress these States field. If there are any states selected that should not be suppressed, remove the entries.
Additionally, many states have options to suppress the state return or to suppress e-filing. Check data entry screens for the state itself to make sure this is not indicated.
