EF Message 5604 states:

FORM 1040 E-FILED AND ACCEPTED: Federal Form 1040 has already been filed and accepted. Any State returns that have not been accepted may still be e-filed.

This message indicates that the federal return has been e-filed and received an acceptance acknowledgement from the IRS. Drake produces this message to prevent duplicate filing and rejection of a return.

Any states that have not already been sent and accepted can still be e-filed by clearing the messages for those states and transmitting.
