Why is an amount not flowing to line 1 of a 706?
Go to screen 1 in data entry and review the options in Part 3 - Elections by the Executor.
An amount does not flow to line 1 if Sect 2032 Alternative valuation is chosen in Part 3 – Elections by Executor and no amount has been entered for the Alternate Value.
If you have have selected this election and entered an Alternate Value on the PROP screen, the Alternate Value flows to line 1 of Form 706.
