14039: AL - EF Message 0351

Follow the instructions in the error message. If that doesn't clear the message, the return must be paper-filed.

AL EF Message 0351:

This message may be generating for the following reasons:
1) There is a 1099R with no amount in Box 2a 'Taxable amount'
2) An amount has been entered on the field 'Portion of 1099 to exclude from state' which excludes all income
3) An override for Rollover has been entered
4) An override has been entered on Alabama screen 2 line 4b
   
Possible solutions:
- Enter an amount on line 2a on the Federal 1099R screen.
- Remove override from Alabama screen 2 line 4b, or
- Enter an amount in the field 'Portion on 1099R NOT qualifying for state exclusion' on the Federal 1099R screen.
- Remove the Rollover Indicator

If none of these solutions will work the return Must be paper-filed.
