NC EF Message 0063:

If an amended screen is entered for NC then either line 22 or 24 on NC screen PMTS Other Tax Payments must have an amount.

To clear this error message, in data entry of the return go to States > NC (North Carolina) > PMTS (Other Tax Payments). Enter a value on either line 22 Additional Payments or line 24 Previous Refunds.

If unable to enter a value on either line 22 or line 24, the amended NC D-400 will need to be paper-filed.
