I am getting EF Message 1305 on my New Jersey partnership extension. How can I correct this EF Message?
NJ EF Message 1305 reads:
According to the NJ 1065 Instructions, if a Federal extension has been filed, an automatic 5 month extension is also granted for NJ. If an extension is needed for NJ, in addition to the federal form, at least 3 partners would need to be entered on the federal K1 screen in order to e-file.
If there are only 2 partners on the 1065 return, the NJ Part 200-T extension form will not produce within the View/Print mode. The fillable Part-200T extension form can be accessed on the NJ website and would need to be paper-filed.
