LA EF message 0032 reads:

LA School Expense Deduction

You may not e-file a return if you have a child listed without a school name, deduction and the relevant expenses.  If the child did not have any fees remove the child from data entry for the LASED.In order to e-file you must fill out all the relevant information for a dependent including the school name, deduction type and the fees paid.

This EF message is caused by failing to complete the required information on the SED screen within LA data entry. To clear this EF message message, return to the LA SED School Expense Deduction screen and ensure all relevant information has been completed, including the SSN, name of qualifying dependent, name of school and which deduction is being claimed. In addition, the amount of qualifying expenses per student should be entered at the bottom of this screen.
