    • Detailed tooltips have been added when hovering mouse pointer over different types of backups under Client > Restore (User Deleted, Start of Session, etc). 
    • Improvements have been made to the multi-location payroll function.

  • IMPROVEMENTS
    • Improvements have been made for importing from other software into Drake Accounting.
    • Improvements to client file security and passwords have been made.
    • Under Setup > Crystal Reports Options, Tax Provision can be included with Profit and Loss reports.
    • Improvements have been made to the speed of processing batch payroll.
    • In Receivables > Invoices, descriptions for invoice line items can now be longer than 12 characters.
    • Under Receivables, improvements have been made to auto invoicing.
    • Validation has been added to ensure a federal ID has 9 digits.
    • Pay rates of 0 will now come over from CWU.
    • When logged out of Drake Accounting, the system will retain the previously logged in Username so it does not have to be re-entered.
    • When importing a spreadsheet, a confirmation at the bottom left of the screen will display.
    • In the Unposted Transactions screen, Increment Reference Number has been added to the bottom right of the screen and allows the user to see the next value that will be entered in the reference field.

    • Crystal Reports will now retain applicable default dates based on type of report being ran. 
    • When Seasonal Employer is marked under Client Setup, it will now flow to the 941. 
    • An issue with the Employee Detail Listing report has been fixed. 
    • Issues with the Federal Unemployment Tax Journal, Live Vendor Check Register, and Payroll Journal Expanded Reports have been corrected. 
  • IMPROVEMENT
    • Improvements have been made to the speed of posting transactions. 
    • Terminated employees will show on payroll reports if they have payroll within the selected date range for the report being ran. 
    • The Payroll Journal will now display division totals per employee as well as the grand total for all divisions. 
    • Improvements have been made to owner account security.

    • Under the State tab in Client Setup, the state will default to the state entered on the Contact Information tab. 
    • Improvements have been made to the Monthly Balance Sheet report.
    • Additional decimal places are allowed in the WH. Percent Field under Employee Setup > Federal Tax tab.

  • IMPROVEMENT
    • The Trial Balance Worksheet SOY can be ran with the "Display Beginning Balance" option. 
    • Invoices will not be able to be voided if there are active/non-voided payments associated with them. 
    • When entering amounts on the Benefits Setup, the amounts will retain a decimal. 
    • Voided payments and invoices will not be included on the Vendor Card report.

    • The Trial Balance Report now includes SOY blance plus/minus debits and credits for the As of Date when running the report. 
    • IMPROVEMENT
    • On the Unposted Transactions screen, you can now add a new account in the Account drop list at the top of the screen. 
    • On the Employee Detailed Listing report, an option to suppress terminated employees has been added. 
    • To auto increment the Reference Number on the Unposted Transactions screen, select "Increment Reference Number" in the bottom right corner.  
    • Improvements have been made to the speed of loading Benefits and Deductions under the Employees module. 
    • The Book's Current Balance has been added to the lower part of the Bank Reconciliation screen. 
    • Federal and State Withholding has been added to the Vendor Payments Register report under the Payables module. This report is now viewed horizontally. 
    • When creating an invoice under Payables (Payables > Invoices), the Amount Due will flow to the Apply Payment tab. 
  • NEW FEATURE
    • A "Lost Username(s)?" link has been added to the bottom of the login screen. 
    • A new report has been added under Receivables called Transaction Record that lists the transactions for invoices.
    • A Print button has been added under Receivables > Payments that will print a single receipt for the selected payment. 
    • Under Receivables > Payments, there is an option to Print/Preview a Receipt when saving.

    • Fixed an issue with prior year transactions not showing up after doing a Year End Close and updating into DAS19.

    • Fixed an issue with Journal Screen Options under User Setup. 
    • Fixed an issue with the P&L Multi Column Monthly report.

    • The number of characters available on the P&L reports, several Payables reports, and the Interim reports has been expanded. 
    • A validation icon will display in the Unposted Transactions screen if the date entered is not within an acceptable range. 
    • A checkbox called "Exclude Tax Provisions" has been added to the Interim, Balance Sheets, and Profit and Loss Report Groups under Setup Crystal Report Options.
    • Fixed a couple of issues with the Cash Flow report and the Sales Tax Summary report. 
    • Fixed an issue with a nonapplicable accounts holding up the Transaction Listing report. 
  • IMPROVEMENT
    • The "Non-negotiable" watermark on direct deposit checks is now darker. 
    • The Transaction Record report will now include the phone number for the client. 
    • There is now an option to "Include amounts from post-dated checks in YTD" for the Payroll Journal reports.
    • The Live Vendor Check Register report now includes, if applicable, federal and state withholding and is now viewed in landscape. 
    • Improvements have been made for how the Check Print screens handle default printers. 
    • A column has been added to the Monthly Prior Year Comparison report that displays percentage of change. 
  • NEW FEATURE
    • For clients who are set up with multiple locations, a "Location" droplist has been added to many Employees Reports to filter by location.

    • Removed the "% Change" Column from the Profit and Loss Two Column YTD report. 
    • Improvements have been added to the Transaction Listing report. 
    • Fixed an unhandled exception error occurring when importing employees under Tools > Spreadsheets. 
    • Fixed an unhandled exception error occurring when running the Client Detailed Listing report. 
    • A State Wage Report has been added under Employee Crystal Reports. 
    • Under Payables > Payments, the default Payment Amount will default to the remaining balance on the invoice when setting up a a new payment. 
  • IMPROVEMENT
    • Fixed an issue with the date format for a DAS client file exporting into Drake Tax. 
    • A red validator has been added to the Email field under Paid Preparer Setup. 
    • Limit the number of forms stored by using the “Automatically Overwrite Forms Per Period” option under Client Setup and Firm Information Setup. 
    • Under Setup > Electronic Signatures, a new option has been added ("Preparer") that will enable the signature to be used by any client in any other module they are marked for. 
    • "Requested Payment Date" field has been added to the Forms 94x data entry screen (if the e-File 94x checkbox has been selected under the e-File Options tab and the Online Payment tab has been completed). 
  • NEW FEATURE
    • For OTF employees, the State ID number will carry forward for each on-the-fly employee from year-to-year on their W-2/1099/1098.

    • The locality tax for Philadelphia has been updated.

    • Payments that have been deleted will not show on the Vendor Card report under Payables. 
    • DAS will now hide 1099 accounts on check stubs for employee checks printed with Check Writer. 
    • In Check Writer, validation has been added so that accounting transactions match the check amount.

    • An option to print mailing labels for Clients has been added to Tools > Print Mailing Labels. 
  • IMPROVEMENT
    • Improvements have been made to the Accounting > Update Prior Year process, including the ability to browse to a specific DAS installation location. 
    • For the Federal Unemployment Tax Journal (Employees > Crystal Reports), a Location filter has been added that will show the checks for the chosen location. 
    • Users can now choose how to display names for the Consolidated Check Register reports (Employees and Payables). 
    • All Crystal Reports now have red validators to indicate if no data exists for a report. 
    • Under Setup > Check & Stub Options, users can now select the darkness of the non-negotiable watermark on direct deposit stubs. 
    • The Hours report (Employees > Crystal Reports) will pull data from all checks, both printed and unprinted. 
    • An option to suppress 1099 accounts with zero amounts from the check stub has been added. 
    • An option to suppress individual check details has been added to the Payroll Journal/Expanded reports. 
    • If federal and state withholding has been completed under Vendor Setup, federal and state withholding accounts are required if using bookkeeping for Payables. 
    • After selecting an employee on the payroll screen, the cursor will automatically move to the Hours field under Rates & Hours.
    • An option has been added when running Budget reports to include zero balance accounts.  
    • An obsolete watermark has been added to Forms UT TC-941 and GA G7SB, and e-Files will not be created for these forms. 
    • Improvements have been made to the speed of backing up clients. 
    • An option to include individual employee YTD totals on the Payroll Summary report (sorted by Division) has been added. 
    • Under Accounting > Chart of Accounts, a red validator has been added to indicate that the following account types must have a zero balance or the Start of Year: Income, Cost of Goods, Expense, Other Income, Other Expense, and Tax Provision. 
    • Nested accounts will now be indented on the Balance Sheet reports and the Chart of Accounts
  • NEW FEATURE
    • Under Setup > Crystal Reports Options, the address fields can be removed for the following report groups: Profit and Loss, Balance Sheets, and Interim. 
    • The Tax Liability report can now be sorted by location, which will break down the totals per location in addition to displaying the totals for all locations.

    • Fixed an issue occurring when editing a W-2 and reprocessing the W-3.

    • Changes have been made to speed up the batch payroll saving progress. 
  • IMPROVEMENT
    • On the Payroll Journal reports (including the Expanded format), the column header for Gross Earnings has been changed to Gross Wages.
    • The Enter key will add a new row to the journal if you are on the last cell of the last current row.
