I have suppressed a NY form, however, the Client Results Letter still shows instructions related to it. How do I correct this?
State/city returns can be suppressed by making a selection on the PRNT screen. To remove unneeded state return instructions and refresh the result letter and transaction summary pages, press CTRL + Shift+ R while inside data entry of the return. Then calculate and view the return again-- references to the form name as well as any payment made for those forms will be removed from the result letter.
This may apply to returns where a state supplemental form or city return was filed separately from the federal/state return. Examples include the CT-300, NYC-300, and IT-204-LL.
