Alabama Update 4

  • Individual and Corporation Packages:
    • The following AL forms have been approved for printing: 
      • Form 4952A, Investment Interest Expense Deduction 
      • Form EOO, Taxpayer e-file Opt Out Election Form
      • Schedule CP, Composite Payments/Electing PTE Credits
      • Schedule DS & HOF, Dependents Schedule
      • Schedules A, B, D, & E (Form 40NR)
  • Partnership Package: 
    • EF Message 1348 is now produced when attempting to claim the Enterprise Zone Act Credit on Schedule PC (Form 20S or 65), Pass-Through Credits, without including the required PDF attachment.
  • Fiduciary Package: 
    • The following override fields on AL screen BPT now function as intended: - 4a, "Contact Person" - 4b, "Contact Phone Number" - 4c, "Email Address"
    • Previous extension payments entered on AL screen EXT now flow as intended to line 8d, "Estimated, Extension, and WNR-V payments," of Form 41, Fiduciary Income Tax Return. 
    • Carryforward amounts are now produced in the intended row in Column 8, Section C, of Schedule FC (Form 41), Fiduciary Credits.
  • Individual and Fiduciary Packages: 
    • Negative values are now produced when necessary on lines 9b, "Less accumulated depreciation," and 10b, "Less accumulated depreciation," column B, of AL Worksheet BPT-NWI, Balance Sheet - Net Worth Computation.
  • S Corporation and Partnership Packages: 
    • Certain EF Messages, as well as Form AL8453, Individual Income Tax Declaration for Electronic Filing, are no longer produced when filing a Form PTE-C, Nonresident Composite Payment Return, return that results in a loss and has no prepayments.
    • EF Message 0411 is no longer produced when a member of a composite return applies his or her share of the Investment Credit to the amount of composite tax due.
  • Individual, Corporation, S Corporation, Partnership, and Fiduciary Packages:
    • The link to AL debit payment options has been updated on AL screen FAQ.

Federal Program Update 6

  • Special codes have been added to the signature section of FinCEN Form 114a (FBAR) to facilitate the electronic signature process for taxpayers, spouses, and preparers.

District of Columbia Update 6 

  • Fiduciary Package:
    • Form D-41E SUB, District of Columbia Fiduciary (Estate or Trust) Declaration for Electronic Filing, will now be printed as expected.

Georgia Update 5

  • Corporation Package
    • GA Form 600, Corporation Tax Return, has been approved and is now available for e-file.

Idaho Update 3

  • Individual Package:
    • Form 402 now requires both checkboxes in the data entry screen be checked to use three-factor apportionment. "To be eligible to use the Three-Factor Apportionment, the company must be one of the following: Electrical, telephone and communications corporations (as defined in Idaho Code) and MTC special industries (construction contractors, airlines, railroads, trucking companies, television and radio broadcasting, publishing, and financial institutions). If both boxes on the ID 402 data entry screen is not checked, a message will generate and prevent e-filing.
    • Standard deduction will no longer include contributions listed on the Federal Schedule A.
  • Individual, Corporation, S-Corporation, Partnership, Fiduciary:
    • ID Form 75 PTO was not generating the allowances when the setup option for upper case only was selected. The forms now produce the allowances regardless of case choice.

Illinois Update 7

  • Individual Package:
    • The Illinois Earned Income Tax Credit limit has been updated to $59,187 for 2022.
  • S Corporation Package:
    • IL fourth quarter estimated payment due date for IL Form IL-1120-ST-V, Payment Voucher for Small Business Corporation Replacement Tax, has been updated to 12/15/2023.

Massachusetts Update 8

  • Individual Package: 
    • EF Message 0375 will now prevent "Yes" from being selected on line 1, "Multi-use or multi-family property," on MA screen CB when the renter option has also been selected.
  • Partnership Package: 
    • The MA Partnership package has been approved for e-file.

Missouri Update 4

  • Individual, Corporation, S Corporation, Partnership, and Fiduciary Packages:
    • The following forms have been approved for printing: 
      • 2827, Power of Attorney 
      • MO-1040ES, Declaration of Estimated Tax for Individuals
      • MO-1040V, Individual Income Tax Payment Voucher 
      • MO-1041V, Fiduciary Income Tax Payment Voucher
      • MO-1120ES, Declaration of Estimated Tax for Corporation Income Tax
      • MO-1120V, Corporate Income Tax Payment Voucher
      • MO-CFC, Champion for Children Tax Credit
      • MO-DAT, Residential Dwelling Access Tax Credit
      • MO-FPT, Food Pantry, Homeless Shelter, or Soup Kitchen Tax Credit 
      • MO-MS PTE, Pass-Through Entity Allocation and Apportionment of Income Schedule 
      • MO-NRF, Nonresident Fiduciary Form
      • MO-NRP, Nonresident Partnership Form
      • MO-PTE, Pass-Through Entity Income Tax Return
      • MO-PTEAP, Pass-Through Entity Anticipated Tax Payment Voucher
      • MO-PTEV, Pass-Through Entity Tax Payment Voucher
  • S Corporation and Partnership Packages: 
    • The following forms have been added to the program: 
      • MO-MS PTE, Pass-Through Entity Allocation and Apportionment of Income Schedule
      • MO-PTE, Pass-Through Entity Income Tax Return
      • MO-PTEAP, Pass-Through Entity Anticipated Tax Payment Voucher
      • MO-PTEV, Pass-Through Entity Tax Payment Voucher 
    • Screens associated with the aforementioned forms have been added to the program and can be accessed from the "General" tab of the MO Data Entry Menu.
  • Partnership Package:
    • The intended amounts are now produced in columns (d), "Partner's Partnership Adjustment," and (e), "Missouri Source," on line 11, "Missouri partnership adjustment - Net Addition," Part 2, of Form MO-NRP, Nonresident Partnership Form.
  • Individual Package: 
    • EF Message 0090 is no longer produced when an MO "Requested payment date" other than "04-18-2023" is entered on federal screen PMT. Payment dates cannot be more than three days prior to the return's transmission date or 180 days or more after the return's transmission date. 
    • The spouse's "Wages and Commissions" field on MO screen CR now functions as intended, resolving calculation errors on Form MO-CR, Credit for Income Taxes Paid to Other States or Political Subdivisions.

Mississippi Update 2

  • Individual, Corporation, S Corporation, and Partnership Packages:
    • The following forms have been approved:
      • 80-205, Non-Resident/Part-Year Resident Individual Income Tax Return
      • 80-315, Reforestation Tax Credit
      • 80-320, Individual Income Tax Interest and Penalty Worksheet
      • 80-401, Tax Credit Summary Schedule
      • 81-110, Fiduciary Income Tax Return (for Estates and Trusts)
      • 83-105, Corporate Income and Franchise Tax Return 
      • 83-401, Tax Credit Summary Schedule - 84-105, Pass-Through Entity Tax Return

Montana Update 6

  • Individual Package: 
    • Line 4, "Enter your Montana earned Income," will now be calculated as intended on the Montana EITC Reduction Worksheet (MTWK_RDT).

North Dakota Update 5

  • Individual Package:
    • EF Message 0026 is now generated only when an ND residency status of "Non-resident" or "Part-year" is marked for the taxpayer or spouse on ND screen NR and no corresponding "Name of Other State" is selected.
    • EF Message 1110 is now generated only when an ND residency status of "Part-year" is marked for the taxpayer or spouse on ND screen NR and no corresponding dates of residency are entered. 
    • EF Message 0099 is no longer generated when no "Requested payment date" is entered on federal screen PMT for ND returns e-filed on or before April 18, 2023.
    • The "Corporation's apportionment factor" entered on line 20 of ND screen SK1 now flows as intended to line 20, Part 4, of Schedule K-1 (Form 60), Shareholder's Share of North Dakota Income (Loss), Deductions, Adjustments, Credits, and Other Items.

New Hampshire Update 2

  • Individual, Corporation, S Corporation, Partnership, and Fiduciary Packages:
    • The following forms have been approved and can now be printed:
      • DP-100, Report of Address Change 
      • DP-200, Request for Department Identification Number (DIN)
      • DP-2848, Power of Attorney (POA) 
      • DP-80, Business Profits Tax Return
      • Business Profits Tax Apportionment
      • DP-95, Election to Report Net Gain in Year of Sale

New Mexico Update 2

  • Partnership Package:
    • e-File has been approved and is now available for the Partnership package.
  • Individual Package:
    • e-File has been approved and is now available for the Individual package.

General Program Update 14

  • Add index column option in PCM under customize display>column layout.

Tennessee Update 2

  • Individual Package: 
    • An update resolves reject "TN-TN17301."

Wisconsin Update 5

  • Individual Package:
    • The amount is now displayed next to the description as intended for the following lines on Schedule M, Additions to and Subtractions from Income:
      • Line 33, "Other additions to income" 
      • Line 75, "Other adjustments" 
      • Line 83, "Other subtractions from income" 
    • Return Note 10 is no longer produced when tuition expenses are entered on WI screen 3.
    • Underpayment interest is now included, as intended, in the total amount due on Form PV, Wisconsin Payment Voucher, and its associated filing instructions.
    • Gambling winnings only from Wisconsin are now produced on line 26, "Other income," of Schedule M, Additions to and Subtractions from Income. Prior to this update, line 26 included gambling winnings from all non-Wisconsin sources.
  • S Corporation and Partnership Packages: 
    • An update prevents reject "DRKPARSE" on element "PTErepresentative" when no representative phone number is entered on WI screen PTE.
  • Corporation, S Corporation, Partnership, and Fiduciary Packages:
    • e-File business rules have been updated to the latest version per the WI DoR.
