How do I enter information for the Metro Supportive Housing Services Personal Income Tax Return?

The Metro Supportive Housing Services Personal Income Tax Return, also called the MET-40 or Metro, or SHS, is new for Drake22. To make entries for the Metro Supportive Housing Services Personal Income Tax Return, use the steps below.

  • On the federal W2 screen, enter any local wages and tax withheld as follows:
    • Box 15: choose OR
    • Box 18: enter the Metro wage amount
    • Box 19: enter the Metro tax withheld
    • Box 20: enter METRO
  • Use the OR > City/County Tax tab > screens ME40 and MEB to make any necessary entries.
  • In View/Print mode, see Form OR M_40 (full year residents) or OR M_40 NP (non-resident or part-year residents).

The nonresident/part-year forms are not e-fileable through Drake22 at this time.

The above information is for an individual return, however, there are also business returns for the MET:

  • METBIT-20
  • METBIT-20S
