Where do I enter information from Form 8396?
Use screen 8396 (Mortgage Interest Credit). Note that the amount on line 2, Credit rate shown on mortgage credit certificate, cannot be less than 10% or more than 50%. For more information, see Publication 530, Tax Information for Homeowners, and Form 8396.
