In a corporate return, I see Pennsylvania EF Message 2019, concerning direct debit, but I haven’t set up direct debit. How can I resolve this message?
It is possible that this EF Message is caused by an unrelated failure to enter an officer’s SSN on Schedule E. When PA EF Message 2019 occurs, check to see if Federal EF Message 0071 has also appeared:
MISSING OR INVALID SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER: An officer's Social Security Number is missing or invalid on Form 1125-E. Review the information on the E screen.
Clearing this Federal EF Message may also clear PA EF Message 2019.
