How do I resolve an 1120 parse error that states there is an incomplete officer name entered?
This parse error states:
Error Message: Error(XX,X):The element 'Name' in namespace 'http://www.irs.gov/efile' has incomplete content. List of possible elements expected: 'MiddleInitial, LastName' in namespace 'http://www.irs.gov/efile'.
Rule Number: DRKPARSE
This issue is fixed by entering a first and last name on the officer's signature line on the PIN screen (or the E screen for an officer who has Signs return check box marked). Entering only the first or last name or entering only an "X" for the signature causes the error. Two names are required.
