How do I set up to use dual monitors on my computer?
To set up dual screens on your Windows 10 computer, select Start > Settings > System > Display. Your PC should automatically detect your monitors and show your desktop. If you don't see the monitors, select Detect. In the Multiple displays section, select an option from the list to determine how your desktop will display across your screens. You can have the different years of Drake Tax open on different monitors. Drake Tax remembers the monitor on which it was last displayed, but the data entry screens, and the View mode screens, are handled separately.
Assuming your setup adequately supports dual monitors, you can set the monitor on which Drake opens by opening the software, dragging the display to the desired monitor, and closing the software. The data entry display and the View mode display must be moved separately.
For example, if data entry and View mode in Drake Tax both appear on monitor 1, you can drag either or both to monitor 2.

Drag the data entry screen (or the Home window) to monitor 2, and close the program. Reopen Drake and it opens in data entry on monitor 2, but View mode still opens on monitor 1.

Drag the View display to monitor 2 and close the program.
You can drag the respective data entry or View displays for Drake13 and later software to different monitors. Where they are placed when the program is closed is where they will appear when the program is opened again.
