Which state returns are available in the 990 package?
Currently, Drake Tax supports four states in the 990 package. Those states are Arizona (AZ), California (CA), New York (NY), and Texas (TX - the Texas Franchise Tax Report). The only state returns that can be e-filed from the 990 package are The Texas Franchise Tax Report, the Texas Form 05-164 Extension Request and the California Exempt Organization Annual Information Return (Form 199).
The supported CA form is Form 199. CA Form 109 is available under Tools > Blank Forms, but the software will not fill out this form from data entry. The CA Form 199N is available online from the CA FTB.
