Drake Tax - Changing File Associations

Tip This action has also resolved the error "Unable to Start... No application is associated with the specified file for this operation" and "Error 31 in FindExecutable" when using Drake Documents.
You can change what program opens a certain file type by changing file associations in Windows. If the program you want to use is installed on your computer, you can select it to open a file type.

Go to Start > Settings.

Select Apps > Default apps.

Scroll down and select the option Choose default apps by file type near the bottom of the list. This will open a list of all file types sorted alphabetically.

Scroll down to find the appropriate file extension. For the above example, find .pdf PDF File in the list. To the right of .pdf, click to Choose a default app, and select Adobe Reader from the available programs or apps.

Close out of the Choose Defaults by File Type screen.
