Overview

Beginning in Drake Tax 2016, the program produces a worksheet in view called Fed Withholdings, which lists all forms and schedules on which federal withholding has been reported in the return.

You can choose to set a lower limit for the number of forms and schedules that will trigger generation of the Fed Withholdings worksheet. From the menu bar of the home window in Drake Software, go to Setup > Options > Form & Schedule Options tab. In the Select to Turn On section, mark the Federal Withholding Summary check box, then enter a number.

If you choose 0, the worksheet will generate when you have any forms and schedules that report federal withholding, such as forms W-2 or 1099-R.

If you enter a larger number, then theFed Withholdings worksheet will not be generated for returns unless they have more than that number of forms and schedules that report federal withholding. For example, if you enter 5, then the Fed Withholdings worksheet will not be generated for returns with five or fewer forms and schedules that report federal withholding.

The Fed Withholdings worksheet can be turned off by unchecking the Federal Withholding Summary box in the Select to Turn On section of the Form & Schedule Options tab of Setup > Options.
