EF Message 4010
The message indicates that your EFIN has not been properly confirmed in Drake Tax Online. Make sure that you have uploaded a copy of your IRS EFIN by following the steps in EFIN Registration or Change. If your EFIN is showing as Accepted, on your Drake Software account page, log out of DTO and log back in. If you still see the message, contact EFIN Management at (866) 273-9032 for assistance.
EF Message 4230
On the EPS data entry screen remove the amount entered for Deduction for other fees paid to ERO.
EF Message 5330
This message indicates that you have entered an incorrect number in the ERO's PIN Signature field. To resolve EF Message 5330, follow these steps.

On the left, click Taxpayer Information, and verify which preparer is selected as the ERO in the ERO override box.
Note If there is nothing selected in the ERO override, you can override it to the desired ERO and then go to step 2.

On the left, click Finish and open the 8879/8878 E-file Signature form.

On the 8879/8878 E-file Signature screen, enter the ERO's PIN in the box ERO's PIN signature.
Tip If you are not sure what number was selected for the preparer who is listed as the ERO, Exit the return and complete the preparer setup. See Drake Tax Online - ERO PIN Signature for details.
EF Message 5651
This message is generated when bank documents have not been printed for the taxpayer's review. You must select and print the full return to PDF (click View Return > select Full Return > Create PDF > View Return).
