To have Form 9325 display the acknowledgment, Submission ID, and date, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Setup > Setup Options > Electronic Filing tab.

  2. Mark the box Email 9325 Notice to Taxpayer (automatically from Drake Processing Center).

  3. Click Save.

Note  When this option is selected, the e-file acceptance notification will automatically be emailed to the taxpayer, provided the taxpayer’s email address was entered on the Taxpayer Information tab prior to e-filing.

Additional Information

  • The email "From" address is the Email address shown in Company Information > Contact located on the the Drake Software Support website (Account > Account Info page). A separate Form 9325 “From” email address can also be entered on that page, if needed.

  • The Submission ID is displayed on the emailed copy of Form 9325 or EF Notice in block 2. See Drake Tax - Submission ID (SID) for details.

  • An override of the global setup option is available for a 1040 return on the EF Selection screen. Select the Yes or No radio button as needed.
