Drake Accounting - Validation Fields

Overview

Drake Accounting has red exclamation marks () next to required fields to show you what information is required to be completed on each applicable screen. Fields that have a red exclamation point cannot be left blank. If there are any blank required fields, the software will not allow you to save the screen. As you can see below, when required entries are missing, the Save button is not available.

For more information about what type of information is required for a specific field, you can hover over the validator with your pointer. A description of the required information will appear. Enter or correct the data to clear those verification fields. Click Save once all of the required and applicable entries have been made.
