Drake Accounting - Default Hours

Overview
Employee Payroll in Drake Accounting shows default hours per pay period depending on the pay frequency that has been selected for the employee.

Under the main menu, go to Employees > Employee Setup > New to create a new employee.

Once you fill out the basic employee information, go to the Payroll Wages/Rates tab.

When you select a Pay Class and Pay Frequency, the software will automatically create the appropriate hours in the Default Hours Per Pay Period field. The default hours are editable and you may adjust them if needed.
