If there are two federal K1 screens with the same name and EIN, the overrides may not be carried to the CA565K1 because the software does not know which K-1 to adjust. Make sure the federal K1 screen entered has a unique combination of ID and Name. The software will be able to pick up two K1 screens with the same ID number as long as there is a unique name for each Schedule K-1.
Tip Adding a number (1, 2, 3 …) to the end of the K1 name will make the name unique.
