Drake Tax - CA - Alternative Electronic Signature

The global option to enable the Alternative Electronic Signature option for all CA return types is located under Setup > Options > States > CA. Select Enable Alternative signature option (All packages). Click OK to save your selection.

On a return-by-return basis, you can select to enable the alternative electronic signature in CA data entry by selecting Yes for Enable Alternative Electronic Signature on the applicable screen as follows:

• Individual return: CA 540 screen.

• Estate return: CA 541 screen.

• Corporation: CA 100 screen.

• S corporation: CA 100S screen.

• Partnership: CA 565 screen.
