Although Vermont allows only one Form HS-122 to be e-filed from Drake Tax, you can create multiple Forms HS-122 in Drake Tax and the additional forms can be paper-filed, or the information can be filed online at the VT website.

When you e-file a Vermont return with more than one HS-122, only one is transmitted. At present, the software does not indicate which HS-122 is sent with the transmission. You must contact the state to determine which one was transmitted.

If you e-file a VT return with more than one HS-122,

  1. Wait until the return is accepted.

    1. Contact the Vermont Department of Taxes at (802) 828-2865 (the number is displayed in a Return Note that refers to the HS-122).

    2. Determine which HS-122 was e-filed.

  2. Either paper-file the other forms, or go to the VT web page Homestead Declaration And Property Tax Adjustment Claim and file the information from the other forms there.
