IRS Reject X0000-033 (Drake Tax 2025)

The IRS will sometimes pull e-filed returns for testing ahead of the official go-live date (January 26, 2026, for 2025 returns). During this testing period, any acknowledgments you receive are from the IRS and are not test acknowledgments.

We have recently been informed that some 2025 returns are receiving IRS Reject "X0000-033." You do not need to take action to correct this reject; impacted returns will be retransmitted automatically.

Please review acknowledgments for these returns after January 16, 2026 to ensure that you have an updated IRS acknowledgment.
