Some California individual tax returns and extensions submitted on April 14 and 15, 2025 were rejected with code “IndividualPayment-330.” To resolve this reject, take the following steps:

  1. On the federal PMT screen:

    • Change the Federal selection to N.

    • Uncheck the 4868 box beside Payment is for.

    • Remove the Federal Requested payment date.

    • Change the State Requested payment date to today's date.

  2. On the federal EXT screen, remove the selection from the 4868 drop list, and check the box Extension was previously filed; ready to file tax return.

  3. Calculate the return and verify that only the CA extension will be transmitted.

  4. Retransmit the return.
