You can run a report to identify returns with dependents born in 2025 by following these steps:

  1. Go to Reports > Report Manager.

  2. Select Client Reports > Client Contact > Client List (All Clients).

  3. Click Edit Report.

  4. Update the Report title (for example: Dependent DOB).

  5. From the Available Columns listing, locate Dependent Date of Birth and click Select to add it to the report.

    • Add any other columns, as needed.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Click Edit Filters.

  8. Choose the All Individual (1040) Clients in the Available Filters list and click Copy Filter.

  9. Enter a new filter name (i.e., DOB).

  10. Click Add Condition.

  11. Make the following selections on the filter condition editor:

    • Keyword Name: Dependent Date of Birth.

    • Comparison: is between

    • Value: 01012025 and 12312025

  12. Click OK.

  13. Click Save.

  14. Click Save again.

  15. The Report Manager window shows with the new report highlighted. Click View Report.

  16. You can then print or export the list of clients and review the returns.
