Drake Tax – Microsoft-Based Email App Passwords

To allow Drake Tax to access and send emails using an Hotmail or Windows Live account, you must do the following:

• Enable POP under Settings (gear) > Mail > Forwarding. See the Microsoft article for details.

• Turn on two-step verification and set up a special app password by going to Options > Account details > Security & Privacy > More Security Settings. See the Microsoft article for details.

• In Drake Tax email setup, use this app password as your email password. Test settings, and when successful, click Save.
