API Errors can be caused by anti-virus software such as SpyHunter, Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, Malwarebytes, and others. The error indicates at least one file has been disabled or is missing.

Note The error message may also say "Dew LoadLibrary 126. The specified module could not be found." It may contain a specific API number, such as "API 126."

To resolve this error, contact an IT professional for assistance with configuring the anti-virus. See Drake Tax - Configuring an Antivirus for a list of files.

After your anti-virus has been configured, contact Drake Support (828) 524-8020 for a repair installation of the Drake program.
