Where to enter a K1P or K1F received on a 1065 Partnership return

If a partnership is a partner or beneficiary of another partnership or fiduciary, they should receive a Schedule K-1 from the other partnership or fiduciary. In the 1065 package, enter Schedule K-1 data from partnerships or fiduciaries on the respective K1P (Schedule K-1 from Another Partnership) or K1F (Schedule K-1 from a Fiduciary) screen. Distributions that the partnership received should be entered on screen K (Schedule K, Partners' Distributive Share) (AMT and Other Information tab).

Note that screen K1 (Schedule K-1, Partner Information) is used only to enter information regarding the partners who will receive a Schedule K-1 from the current partnership for whom Form 1065 is being filed.
