Drake Tax - DC - EF Message 0160

EF Message 0160 refers to the DC Tax Refund Card, which is the default refund method in an individual DC return.

EF Message 0160 occurs when a DC refund is not in the range of $2 to $4000 and C -ReliaCardRefund Card is the refund method selected on DC screen 2.

Correct the messages by selecting a different refund method. Either:

• Select a paper check

  • Select P - Paper Check (from the drop list on line 40 for Refund Options other than Direct Deposit on DC screen 2),

  • and clear any DD Direct Deposit screen entries you may have made for DC.

• Select a direct deposit

  • Complete the DD screen for DC,

  • And clear the line 40 drop list selection (if there is one).
