Drake offers two Practice Essentials bundle options: Practice Essentials and Practice Essentials Plus. The available bundle depends on the Drake Tax package purchased.

Note Drake Tax Pay-Per-Return users are not eligible to purchase a Practice Essentials bundle. PPR users can purchase and use Drake Portals, Drake Workflow, or Drake E-Sign Online E-Signature Events separately.
Subscription Terms
Practice Essentials bundles are annual subscriptions that:

Begin on the date of purchase

Automatically renew each year
Subscriptions cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded during the active term.
Additional E-Signature Events and storage can be purchased once included quantities are used.
E-Signature Event Expiration
E-Signature Events that are included in the bundle expire at the end of the annual subscription term for Practice Essentials.
If you purchase additional E-Signature Events, they expire at the end of the year following the filing season for which they were purchased. See Drake Portals - Drake E-Sign Online - E-Signature Event Types for more information.
Upgrade Options
If you are a current annual Drake Portals subscriber, you can upgrade to Practice Essentials when completing your software renewal online. If you choose to upgrade when checking out, you will see a credit for any remaining months in your current subscription. The annual subscription term will reset to the new purchase date.
If you are a current monthly Drake Portals subscriber, you can also choose to upgrade to Practice Essentials when completing your software renewal online. The upgrade will take place immediately, and there is no prorated credit or refund for any remaining days in the subscription term. The new term is an annual subscription beginning on the date of purchase.
