To resolve EF Messages 5193, 5363, 5555, and 5824, return to the IDS screen and enter any missing information. The ID Type, Number, State, Issue Date, and Expiration Date are required entries for the taxpayer and spouse (if applicable).

If the taxpayer does not have a driver's license or state issued photo ID with a valid expiration date, a different ID type may be entered in the Taxpayer's Other Identification section.

Important  There are several states that issue non-expiring IDs. If the taxpayer does not have valid identification that contains an expiration date, they will not be able to apply for a Republic Bank product (EF Message 4122).

If entering an Arizona Driver's License, the expiration date is considered to be the taxpayer's 65th birthday and should be entered as such.
