The North Carolina DOR allows taxpayers to request an Installment Agreement online at https://www.ncdor.gov/paymentagreements.
The RO-1033 can also be generated in Drake Tax, but it cannot be e-filed either with or after the return. To generate the RO-1033, use the NC > 1033 screen.
Once you have completed the form as needed, view the return and look for form RO-1033. Print and send the completed form by either mail or fax.
