Anyone who prepares and files Oregon Personal Income Tax Returns for compensation must be licensed with the Oregon Board of Tax Practitioners; unless they are a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Public Accountant licensed by the Oregon Board of Accountancy, or a member of the Oregon State Bar.
To enter your Oregon registration number, go to Setup > Preparers and Users and locate the State Registration Numbers section and click the Registration button. Enter your Oregon Registration Number in the appropriate field, and click OK to save the entry. Be sure to Save the user setup screen before exiting.
