The Georgia Department of Revenue (DOR) expects to begin issuing electronic filing acknowledgments (acks) and processing returns on February 2, 2026. Due to the number of returns that are awaiting review:

  • Acks for some returns may still be delayed or continue to show as "pending - waiting for acceptance" during this initial period.

  • Refunds will be delayed.

  • Direct debit payments may be delayed.
